About Eddie Brumbaugh of Jackson Charles
Before she began inventing gorgeous, livable spaces, Fresno native Eddie Brumbaugh majored in fashion merchandising at the University of Houston on a double scholarship for volleyball and track. She went on to become a well-known heptathlete, training alongside star athletes such as Carl Lewis and Leroy Burrell, and even competed against Jackie Joyner Kersee.
After getting a bird’s eye view of different design cultures as a flight attendant, Brumbaugh settled in the South, attending the Art Institute of Atlanta and growing her clientele by word of mouth.
During her career as a designer, Brumbaugh has added life and love to the homes of clients with a range of backgrounds and budgets, including singer-songwriter Kandi Burress, Atlanta Falcon Osi Umenyiora, San Diego Charger Marcus Gilchrist, Cleveland Brown Greg Little and actress Keshia Knight Pulliam.
Brumbaugh expanded her brand in 2013 to include Jackson Charles Home, a destination retail space in the Westside Design District focused on “it” accessories full of color, texture and energy.
