La Isla Magazine Presents the 2nd Annual New River Auto Mall Fiesta de Mayo on May 10th, 2014 in Hilton Head Island, SC
Hilton Head Island, SC (PRWEB) May 02, 2014 -- On Saturday, May 10th, La Isla Magazine will host the 2nd Annual New River Auto Mall Fiesta de Mayo at Shelter Cove Community Park (39 Shelter Cove Lane, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928) from 12pm-9pm in honor of Cinco de Mayo festivities. This year’s festival will feature “La Isla’s Got Talent Competition” and “Reina de Mayo” (makeover for mother’s day). See below for details.
The event will feature live musical performances by “Alterados del Norte” performing Corridos and Banda music from Mexico, and Marcel Portilla Band performing Rock, Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata and Reggaeton from all over South America. Additional music will be provided by DJ Mix Fer and Salsa and Zumba lessons by professional dancers Jos’eh Marion and Alyssa Petro.
The celebration will also include dancing, a couples dance competition, food, cultural performances, kids’ activities and much more. Entrance is $4 and kids under 10 enter for free. Last year’s event included 75 vendors, 5,000+ attendees. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Volunteers in Medicine of Hilton Head Island.
