Cade Foundation & RMA of Philadelphia Host 2014 Philadelphia Fertilivine
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- Local fertility clinic, RMA of Philadelphia, and the Tinina Q. Cade Foundation (Cade Foundation) partnered together to host a festive wine tasting (FertilivineTM) to raise awareness for those struggling with infertility. All proceeds from the event will be used to fund the Cade Foundation’s education focused programming and their Family Building Grants. Dr. Camille Hammond, MD, CEO of the Cade Foundation, said “It has been so wonderful to watch our partnership with RMA grow and we are excited to continue to support families in the Philadelphia area.”
The event, which included a wine tasting (hosted by celebrity sommelier Joe Roberts), a silent auction, live music, and a raffle for a free IVF cycle, took place on Saturday, April 26th, 2014 at the Wayne Art Center in Wayne, PA. Guests included community support groups, patients of RMA, our platinum sponsor Rosemont Pharmacy, and doctors and staff from RMA and the Cade Foundation. The most exciting moment of the evening was the announcement of the winner of the free round of IVF treatment, graciously donated by RMA of Philadelphia. Philadelphia locals Diego Alonso and his wife were the lucky winners and shared, “Thank you so much for this amazing gift. We are thrilled and there are simply no words to describe how happy you have made us.”
“We are honored to have had the opportunity to sponsor the Cade Foundation’s Fertilivine event here in Philadelphia,” said Dr. Jacqueline Gutmann, Reproductive Endocrinologist at Reproductive Medicine Associates of Philadelphia. “The Cade Foundation and RMA share a fundamental goal—to help people build their families. Couples that face infertility and economic hardship face two huge obstacles on their path to parenthood—Cade’s Family Building Grants remove one of those obstacles.”
The Tinina Q. Cade Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that was started in 2005 to provide information, support, and financial assistance to help infertile families OVERCOME infertility. The foundation was named after founders’ (Dr.s Jason and Camille Hammond) mother, Dr. Tinina Cade who carried and delivered the couples triplets at 55 years old, making her the oldest woman to deliver triplets at that point. The Cade Foundation’s Family Building Grants offer up to $10,000 to provide financial assistance to help others pursue fertility treatment or adoption. The current application cycle is open and will end on June 1st, 2014. To date, the Cade Foundation has hosted hundreds of outreach events throughout the U.S. and provided 43 families with financial support for adoption and fertility treatment.
