Idaho office of Holland & Hart receives Idaho State Bar 6.1 Challenge Award for pro bono and public service activities.

Holland & Hart LLP is pleased to announce that it has received the 2014 Idaho State Bar’s 6.1 Challenge Award - Large Law Firm for pro bono and public service activities from the Fourth District Bar.

The 6.1 Challenge, named after Idaho Rule of Professional Conduct 6.1 which states that every attorney has a professional responsibility to provide legal services to those unable to pay, is an event to inspire and distinguish pro bono and public services activities of local law firms and attorneys. To qualify, the firm must render at least fifty hours of pro bono legal services per year to individuals unable to pay, or to charitable, religious, community, civic, educations and governmental organizations. The 2014 win marks the fifth time in seven years that Holland & Hart has been awarded the Pro Bono 6.1 Challenge honor.

Holland & Hart is consistently ranked among the top firms in the nation for its pro bono work and commitment to providing legal and civic pro bono services to those who would otherwise go without legal aid.
