L’École Culinaire is pleased to announce it is sponsoring a High School Cooking Competition from 4 to 8 p.m., on Monday, May 5th. Winning team members will each receive a tuition scholarship for the Culinary Fundamentals Program at L’Ecole Culinaire, 9811 South Forty Drive in Ladue.

Four local area schools will be participating in the culinary arts competition. Teams of 3 students from Parkway North, Lafayette, Oakville and Valley R-VI in Caledonia will be entered into a mystery basket style competition hosted at L’Ecole Culinaire. All food and equipment will be supplied by the culinary school and teams will be judged on skills and creativity by L’Ecole Culinaire Chef Instructors.

"This is a great way for L'Ecole Culinaire to give back to the community," said Mary Rakoski, Campus Director. "We wanted to offer high school students a chance to show off their creativity and passion for food, and reward them for their efforts."
