Novatus, a leading provider of contract lifecycle management solutions, has announced the release of an integration between Salesforce.com and the Novatus contract management solution. Sales Connect allows Salesforce users to easily request contracts from Novatus, monitor the contract through the contract cycle, and store the fully executed agreement.

Customers can access Sales Connect through the AppExchange and follow a few simple steps to install the solution. Once activated, contracts can be requested from an account or an opportunity in Salesforce. The solution utilizes the information already existing in Salesforce to assemble the request. Users can also attach any relevant documents such as price proposals or quotes to the request and the information is sent to Novatus to begin the contract creation process. The Novatus solution provides updates to Salesforce as the contract moves through the different stages of the contracting process so the requestor knows the status of the contract and who has it. Once the contract is signed, a fully executed version can be stored in Salesforce.com.
“Our customers believe so strongly in Novatus and our ability to deliver that we actually sold Sales Connect to several customers based on our beta testing – before it was officially released,” said Gambotz. “Our customers recognize the value of Sales Connect as soon as they see it. As a result of customer feedback, we are already planning exciting enhancements to Sales Connect that will be released this June, including direct field mapping, allowing multiple instances of Salesforce to feed one contract management solution, and a self-service contract kiosk.
