After months of research and development, UltraShipTMS has released an instructive new white paper entitled, Calculating Savings and Return for an Enterprise Transportation Optimization and Automation Solution. The document helps answer the perennial question posed by shippers considering a TMS solution: How much will TMS software really help me save and how long will it take to pay for itself? Using an actual business case study as an example, the paper details the steps shippers must take to arrive at an accurate estimate of savings and return using their own transportation program data. The online savings calculator provides a free and easy tool for shippers to run their own calculations based on the methodology detailed in the paper.

Using the calculation methodology developed in the paper, UltraShipTMS then built an online calculation tool wherein users could input information about the current state of their transportation processes, shipping volume, transportation spend and a few other pieces of general information. Within moments, the calculator delivers a very accurate estimate of how much a shipper can save by implementing TMS and optimizer solutions.
