INK Agency Tapped To Support OC Department of Education’s E-Cig Awareness Campaign
Irvine, Calif. (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- INK, one of America’s fastest growing full-service advertising and marketing agencies, has been tapped by the Orange County Department of Education to craft an E-Cig Awareness Campaign.
“Our mission of rewriting the rules to build something great is particularly relevant with the addition of the OC Department of Education to our list of client partners. We are honored to be supporting them in creating a campaign that will not only educate, but also create awareness for an important issue,” said INK President and Co-Founder Todd Henderson.
For the Orange County Department of Education, INK will develop a campaign—targeted at youths in middle school and high school—to counteract the surge in popularity of e-cigarettes. The campaign will be developed in collaboration with the Orange County Health Care Agency and Orange County Sheriff’s Department, with funding from the California Department of Education.
County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Al Mijares stated, “According to a recent report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, e-cigarette experimentation and use doubled among middle and high school students between 2011 and 2012. This is an alarming trend, and we are committed to partnering with the Orange County Health Care Agency and the Orange County Sheriff’s Department to raise community awareness about the potential risks of e-cigarette use among youth.”
