Five Stone Tax Advisers to Donate 30% of Property Tax Profits to Local Austin Charities; May 31 Property Tax Protest Deadline
(PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Travis County’s leading property tax reduction firm, Five Stone Tax Advisers, has announced that 30 percent of this season’s property tax protest profits will be donated to Foster Angels of Central Texas and other local charities. Additionally, the company will donate $25 to charity for each referral from past and current clients.
Foster Angels’ mission is to ‘improve the lives of children in foster care, ensuring that each child has his or her basic needs met, and to provide life-enriching and life-enhancing experiences whenever possible’.
“We are passionate about people,” said Five Stone Founder and CEO John Paul Krueger, “especially the disenfranchised and underprivileged. Foster Angels is doing great things for the children of our community, and we fully support their efforts.”
The announcement is timed with Property Tax Appraisal season to bring awareness to Five Stone clients and homeowners that they are overtaxed — and can do something about it.
“Homeowners are overtaxed on their properties more often than not,” said Krueger. “It’s their right to hold the powers that be accountable and protest the amount of taxes they owe on their properties. We are successful in helping our clients save significant money 90 percent of the time.”
Five Stone Tax protests property taxes for Travis and Williamson County homeowners, but only collects a fee when money is saved. Out of that fee, 30 percent of the profits is donated to local charities, such as Foster Angels.
“Every season should be a season of giving,” Krueger said. “Our busy time is property tax season, so what better time than now to give?”
