Announcement: BluesGuitar.com Releases “E Blues Lick in the Style of Tommy Emmanuel - Blues Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) May 02, 2014 -- “This is a great little lick I picked up from him”, says MacLennan, “it’s combining bass line with chord stabs on the mid range strings”. This lick is based around an E7 chord by fretting the 6th fret of the 4th string with your 2nd finger and the 7th fret of the 3rd string with your 4th finger. While continuing to hold that chord shape, Jon performs a walking bass line with his first and 3rd fingers. Jon demonstrates the bass line as follows; open 6th string to 4th fret with first finger to 7th fret with 3rd finger to 4th fret of the 5th string with first finger to 5th fret with 3rd finger and then descend back down the same sequence. Next Jon moves to the four chord which is A and he simple just moves the entire sequence up one string and then back to the one chord again. Jon continues this blues guitar lesson by demonstrating some different ways you can end this lick. Guitar TAB’s are available for this cool blues lesson at BluesGuitar.com.
