Narconon Freedom Center Holds Easter Celebration
Albion, Michigan (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Spring is a time for holidays in many countries and faiths. The whole world is coming alive with new growth, and it’s a time of rebirth. The holiday of Easter symbolizes this for a large percentage of the world’s population. It’s a religious holiday that celebrates Jesus’s resurrection, and in the United States it has turned into a widely-celebrated day.
While there are specific religious observances connected to Easter, many faiths celebrate the holiday. Easter is a time for getting together with family and friends and celebrating life, so it is only appropriate for both professional organizations to do the same.
Narconon Freedom Center Holds Easter Celebration
This year, Narconon Freedom Center welcomed the help of family members in getting clients clean, holding it’s annual Easter celebration at it’s facility in Abion. For the recent Easter celebration, the Freedom Center invited the families of clients to the center to participate in fun Easter activities. Clients colored Easter eggs, and everyone shared a delicious Easter dinner and desserts. It was a fantastic event for everyone that attended, and it showed the students just how much everyone cares about their recovery.
About Narconon Freedom Center
Narconon Freedom Center is a residential, long-term drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility that has been in operation for over 12 years. The 100-bed facility houses both male and female clients (called students) and delivers effective drug rehabilitation that addresses both the mental and physical aspects of drug abuse and addiction.
The program offered through Narconon Freedom Center, achieves a recovery rate where seven out of ten clients that complete the program have reported drug abstinence or periods ranging from 6 months to several years. This is according to outcome studies, staff and client surveys and reviews on the program.
The treatment modality is based on a detox program to help remove drug residues from the body through the use of a dry heat sauna. The remainder of the program focuses on handling the mental and emotional issues associated with addiction and teaches clients essential life skills for getting and staying sober.
Families Role in Recovery
A large part of the recovery process is the support and love of families through treatment. In fact, a number of addicts say that their families were vital to getting clean. Parents and siblings have an enormous impact on our viewpoints, opinions and actions, so family members can be far more effective help in getting clean than nearly anyone else.
Because of this Narconon Freedom Center works to incorporate ongoing activities and events that include family members of those in treatment.
Narconon Freedom Center will be announcing many other upcoming activities and events happening at the center.
