Jamplast Reaches 20 Year Milestone - Looks To Expand Operations
St Louis,Missouri (PRWEB) May 06, 2014 -- Jamplast, Inc., a leading distributor of raw plastic materials and biopolymers is celebrating 20 years in business this month.
“We are excited to reach such a milestone,” Jamplast’s president John Moisson says. “We look forward to expanding our footprint and continue to efficiently link sellers and buyers of raw materials throughout North America.”
Jamplast was founded in Chicago in 1994. John and his wife Carolyn were the company’s only two employees-a vast difference from the staff of 25 it employs today. Exactly three years to the day after opening the doors in Chicago, Jamplast relocated to St Louis-John and Carolyn’s home- and continues to grow today.
“We have added three new Account Executives in 2014-growing the number of reps we have to 10. Our team is dynamic and customer-centric, focusing on helping our customers and suppliers be successful through personalized service and custom solutions.”
And Jamplast has big plans for the next twelve months to relocate and consolidate their recycling business from Indiana to a new headquarters in St Louis.
“We plan to centralize all of our operations under one roof in St Louis thus giving our team the advantage of being in the same location as our recycling operations. Having everyone under one roof is both cost efficient and beneficial to the business model.”
Jamplast has carved out a unique niche in the materials market specializing in a diverse product portfolio offering companies the choice of Prime materials, Widespec, Custom Compounds, Reprocessed materials and regrind in Commodity grade, engineering grade, Elastomers and Biopolymers.
And what will the next 20 years bring to Jamplast?
“Connecting the dots is what we do best” says Moisson. “Our diverse customer base gives us the ability to connect suppliers with plastic processors and manufacturers who meet their specific needs.”
