Jim Convertino, Director of the Professional Athletes and Entertainers division of Britton Gallagher, has been invited to participate as a panelist in the Sports Lawyers Association (SLA) discussion in New York City May 7th on Insurance Issues in Sports.
The Professional Athletes and Entertainers (PAE) division works closely with sports agents, lawyers, financial advisors, accountants and business managers to ensure their clients have the proper insurance protection for their unique exposures due to their profiles and professions. Jim, his Associate Director and experienced team of specialized client consultants work primarily with professional athletes, entertainers, broadcasters, directors, TV and movie producers, spokesmodels, screenwriters, franchise owners, front office personnel and coaches.
The division provides clients with unique insurance protection coverages for celebrity appearances, shell corporations, commercial endeavors, singing tours, television and movie productions, unique collections, disability and life insurance, Foundations, LLCs, charity events, sports camps and websites.
Jim’s approach identifies coverage gaps while managing personal and commercial insurance programs to protect our clients’ unique liability and property exposures. He has over 27 years of experience in insurance consulting on behalf of clients in the professional sports and entertainment fields.

Jim is a graduate of Siena College in Albany, New York with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and is active with the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management’s college mentoring program. Jim is also a guest speaker at Baldwin Wallace and Kent State Universities.
