Madison, WI (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- Madison Media Institute (MMI) is offering an open seminar on visual effects, with special guest Alberto Noti. The seminar will take place on Thursday, May 15th at 6:00 p.m., in the MMI Building B Theater located at 2752 Dairy Drive on the east side of Madison. The intent is to develop stronger networking opportunities and infrastructure for filmmakers in the state.
Alberto Noti is a well known Visual Effects Artist that has worked on Spider Man 2, Matrix Reloaded, I am Legend and Hancock. He is presently the Visual Effects Supervisor at Raven Software. At the seminar, Alberto will demonstrate how to dissect an image in visual effects. As an expert in Maya and After Effects software, Alberto will discuss his career, the movies he has worked on and what is going on presently in the visual effects industry.
According to Alberto, giving back to the younger generation is one of his favorite things to do. “It is the responsibility of the older generation to teach the new generation. Technology is changing so quickly and showing young people the ropes will give them a path to discover,” he states.
