CarePoint Health Lunch and Learn Lecture Series Presents: “Healthy Eating and Arthritis”
Hudson County, NJ (PRWEB) May 05, 2014 -- In recognition of National Arthritis Awareness Month, CarePoint Health has partnered with the Arthritis Foundation and is pleased to present the next event in the Lunch and Learn free lecture series: “Healthy Eating and Arthritis”. The community is invited for lunch and a fascinating lecture to learn about how to live healthy with arthritis.
This important event will be presented by Peggy Lotkowictz, Director of Programs and Advocacy for the New Jersey Arthritis Foundation. Peggy has over 15 years of experience in Arthritis Programming and Education and is committed to improving patient health with nutrition. Healthy eating has a connection to arthritis. The presentation comes under the umbrella of living well with arthritis, with a concentration on what we put into our bodies to help fight inflammation and stay healthy.
The CarePoint Health Lunch and Learn program is part of an ongoing series that brings together community members to learn about the specialties, research and critical work being performed at Bayonne Medical Center, Hoboken University Medical Center and Christ Hospital. Each event will feature a prominent health care leader and will include a free lunch for attendees.
