Savannah Moore, a Lebanon High School graduating senior, has been awarded a $500 scholarship co-sponsored by Fidelity Communications and the PRIMO marketing group.

She is one of five winners of a PRIMO scholarship and is the only winner from Missouri. She is the daughter of Bob and Sheila Moore of Lebanon.

Savannah, an honors student who carries a 4.0 grade point average, plans to attend the University of Missouri-Columbia next fall and major in international business and marketing. While at LHS, she took four years of Latin and was a member of student council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders, Chamber Choir, Honor Choir, varsity cheer team, Jacket Dance Team, along with several other clubs and organizations.

She also was involved in numerous charitable causes in Lebanon, is active in her church, went on mission trips to China and Panama and was a finalist in the Miss Missouri Teen Pageant.

“Savannah is an outstanding candidate for this scholarship and we at Fidelity are thrilled to see her selected as a winner,” said Craig Montgomery, public relations manager and chairman of the scholarship committee. Fidelity considered 21 scholarship applications and sent the top three on to PRIMO, which selected the winners.

PRIMO – which stands for Public Relations Independent Marketing Organization – is a group of independent rural telecommunications companies formed to promote marketing and public relations for those companies. Fidelity, which provides telecommunications services in Lebanon, is a PRIMO member. PRIMO offers the scholarships in markets served by its members.
