For the third year in a row, Securityhunter, Inc. is on the Security Dealer & Integrator (SD&I) Fast50 list of fastest growing security integrators in North America. This year, Securityhunter was ranked by SD&I as the third fastest growing company on the 2014 Fast50 list. “Much of Securityhunter’s growth this year came from the U.S. Navy, with over $25MM in awards. It is a privilege to serve our nation through our expertise,” says Michael S. Rogers, CEO of Securityhunter.
Securityhunter works with large integrators, most notably Johnson Controls, Intergraph, PriceWaterhouse and Deloitte. For the past two years, which were the first two years of the Fast50 award, Securityhunter was ranked as the fastest growing integrator on the Fast50 list. As the prime contractor for two major contracts with the federal government, Securityhunter matches the needs of its federal agency clients with the companies who can fulfill these needs. This allows Securityhunter to pinpoint the specialty services of a wide range of subcontracted companies to fill the specific requirements of the government agencies.
Securityhunter, Inc. was founded in 1988 as a home alarm security company by the owners, Michael and Nancy Rogers. Over the years, the focus of the company transitioned to providing security to the nation. To determine the rankings for the Fast50 award, SD&I calculates the placement of the Fast50 awardees based on a special algorithm which incorporates both percentage growth and revenue growth over a three-year-period. This calculation gives companies of all sizes that are competing for the award an equal chance to win. Profiles of the companies with the highest rankings were featured in the March edition of SD&I magazine, which sponsored the Fast50 competition. The strategies used by these companies to spur their growth are described in the stories of growth and success. In general, according to SD&I, the security integration industry is one of the few industries in north America which has enjoyed a steady growth over the last few years, and Securityhunter is proud to be one of those companies.
