Austin Bluffs Lighting Team Earns Industry Accreditation

Our employees are professionals who understand all aspects of lighting, from design to technology. And earning this certificate is proof of our team’s expertise.

Colorado Springs, CO (PRWEB) May 05, 2014

Austin Bluffs Lighting, a Premier Lighting Company, team members Lacey Hampl and Dian Oatman earned the industry’s prestigious Lighting Specialist (LS) Certificate. It is awarded to American Lighting Association (ALA) members who successfully complete a self paced comprehensive study of the Residential Lighting Training Manual (RTLM).

The RLTM is a 45 unit, 845 page instruction manual covering all aspects of lighting. This includes the physics of light and color, technology of light bulbs and dimmers, psychology of selling, and navigation of governmental regulations. The certificate is awarded after a professional passes an examination of the material, followed by continuing education units required every 2 years.

Hampl and Oatman have years of experience in the lighting industry. At Austin Bluffs, they continue to excel, learn, and provide customers with leading edge design options.

“We are extremely proud of their achievement. It is a part of our ongoing efforts to provide the highest level of service and expertise to our customers. Our employees are professionals who understand all aspects of lighting, from design to technology. And earning this certificate is proof of our team’s expertise,” said Kevin Herdt, Manager.

The ALA is a Bi-National Association comprised of showroom and manufacturer members in the United States and Canada. Currently there are approximately 2000 lighting professionals with the credential of Lighting Specialist.
