Hastings, NE (PRWEB) May 20, 2014
Six Hastings civic entities have teamed up to launch a marketing campaign aimed at showcasing Hastings to prospective business and industry owners, visitors, and citizens. The campaign includes a new branding initiative and marketing plan, as well as newly designed and mobile-friendly websites. In addition, a universal portal site provides a central destination, making it easier to search for a variety of information.
Participating partners include the Adams County Convention & Visitors Bureau, City of Hastings, Hastings Economic Development Corporation, Hastings BID & Downtown Center Association, Hastings Chamber of Commerce, and Hastings Utilities.
The new branding initiative will be unveiled to the public on Tuesday, May 20, at 5:00 p.m., during a Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours event at The Lark, 809 West 2nd Street in downtown Hastings. IdeaBank Marketing, the Hastings-based advertising agency that developed the project, will host the event.
Members of the press are invited to a pre-launch press conference Tuesday, May 20, at 3:00 p.m., at the same location.
Revealed during the event will be the new theme and logo that will be used to market Hastings throughout the state and region. A branding-specific portal website, as well as billboards, newspaper ads, TV spots and more – all designed to spread the brand through a variety of media outlets – have also been created. A Facebook photo contest will encourage residents, visitors, and the business community to express what makes Hastings to special.
“Visibility is essential to staying competitive in today’s fast-paced marketplace,” said Kaleena Fong, Executive Director of the Adams County Convention & Visitors Bureau, and key organizer of the initiative. “Whether we are selling the community to new residents, visitors, businesses or investors, this new brand and the unifying web presence will help us to present the community in a captivating way, and really highlight all of the great things happening in Hastings right now.”
