The President got personal in response to questions from students at the University of Malaya town hall-style forum during his visit to Kuala Lampur, Maylaysia last week. Turning serious Obama said he regretted not spending more time with his mother before she died of cancer.
“What you remember in the end, I think, is the people you love,” Obama said near the conclusion of his 80-minute town hall. “I realized that I didn't every single day—or at least more often –just spend time with her and find out what she was thinking and what she was doing, because she had been such an important part of my life.”

A CFM survey of flower wholesalers and distributors estimates they will transact up to 40% of their annual dollar volume this Dias de Las Madres and Mother’s Day holiday.
“We expect Mother’s Day week and weekend to be bigger and busier than usual because the Dia de Las Madres and Mother’s Day holidays fall on Saturday and Sunday. That won’t happen again for another 7 years,” said CFM President Mark Chatoff.
Many CFM petallers said they were touched by the President’s admission and inspired to press on though the sleepless hours with a higher purpose in mind.
