St. Louis, MO (PRWEB) May 07, 2014
Jordan Lawrence, a longtime ACC Alliance Partner and the leading provider of records management and information governance solutions, today announced they will participate in an educational day, “Connecting Records Management to SAP” on May 8, 2014 at the SAP America headquarters in Newtown Square, PA.
The expert Legal and IT panel will include David J. McCue, Corporate Vice President and CIO (retired) Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC), Ronald J. Levine, Litigation Co-Chair at Herrick, Feinstein LLP, Tom Ginocchi, Manager IT at Bayer Business Services and Kevin Chu, Assistant General Counsel, Global Field Legal at SAP.
"The program is a how to session on improving your company’s compliance and litigation profile while creating hard dollar savings by defensibly retaining and deleting structured and unstructured content," said Marty Hansen, EVP of Technology at Jordan Lawrence. The program will be delivered in two parts. First, the expert panel of IT & Legal representatives will discuss the challenges their organizations faced with data growth and the different ways the problems manifested themselves operationally and legally. The panel will discuss how they addressed these problems and the outcomes. The second part of the program will consist of Jordan Lawrence and SAP walking the group through a real life case study.
Participants will leave with a game plan for extending records retention policies to structured and unstructured data – active, archived and decommissioned.
