US-based Tedia Company Names New Hong Kong Distributor

Hong Kong (PRWEB) June 11, 2014 -- Tedia Company, Inc., a United States manufacturer of high purity chemical solvents, has named Hong Kong Specialty Gases Co., Ltd. as the authorized distributor of Tedia products in Hong Kong. Tedia Company, Inc. is the owner of the “Tedia” mark and logo.

Tedia Company, Inc. based in Fairfield, Ohio, is the leading producer of OEM high purity solvents in North America and sells its products throughout the US and in more than 30 other countries. The company’s high purity solvents are used primarily in QC and analytical laboratories and manufacturing facilities.

Founded in 1992, Hong Kong Specialty Gases (http://www.hsg.com.hk) is one of the leading distributors and manufacturers of specialty gases and gaseous chemicals in Southeast Asia. The company, which has four distribution locations in China, serves more than 20,000 customers in Hong Kong and mainland China.

Tedia signed an agreement with Hong Kong Specialty Gases to be the authorized distributor of its products in Hong Kong. Hong Kong Specialty Gases replaces Tedia’s former distributor, Van’s Chemicals Limited, led by Vanessa Po Ki Ho (Ho Po Ki).

Currently investigations are ongoing regarding alleged intellectual property infringement activities involving counterfeit products in the Hong Kong market claiming to be those of Tedia. Tedia will pursue legal action if necessary.
