New Accountant magazine, a professional journal for college accounting students, produced by accounting professionals, has released its latest issue both in print and online.
The issue features the cover story "Fired for No Reason." The story, written by Dr. Randall Hanson, J.D. LL.M, Professor of Business Law at University of North Carolina - Wilmington, looks at how under the terms of "The Employment at Will Doctrine," employees not under a current contract with their employers can be fired for no reason.
