Rockville, Maryland (PRWEB) May 07, 2014
TurningPoint Global Solutions, a software engineering and Information Technology (IT) professional services firm, today announced that it was selected by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to perform circuit management for the DHA Circuit Management Office.
The DHA is the result of the recently reorganized military health system (MHS), which was previously known as the Tricare Management Activity (TMA). On this engagement, TurningPoint will work with Circuit Management Office (CMO) of DHA’s Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) group, Circuit Manager, Division Leads, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and other Agency personnel to participate in performance of daily activities to support the DCMO mission, vision and goals.
“We are eager to work with the newly formed Defense Health Agency,” said Michael Akbar, Director of Healthcare Solutions at TurningPoint. “This is an exciting time for the newly consolidated agency, and we are eager to leverage our experience in cost effective program management to serve our warfighters and veterans.”
TurningPoint’s support will include assignment of subject matter expertise and methodologies to provide best-in-class execution to cover a myriad of unique needs, including services to provision DHA circuits, and complete “cradle to grave” circuit management of those circuits. TurningPoint has been providing circuit management and telecommunications support to the Federal government since 2005.
