Milwaukee, WI (PRWEB) May 07, 2014
The International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, recently announced the launch of a newly redesigned website to further improve the offering of valuable educational resources and tools for members and healthcare professionals specializing in the field of Movement Disorders.
The new and improved website, http://www.movementdisorders.org, features an all-new look and easy navigation, enhanced videos and multimedia, and responsive design for optimal viewing on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. In addition, the website will be home to the newly-launched Movement Disorders – Clinical Practice online journal.
Dr. Matthew Stern, MDS President, is pleased that the launch of the new website will continue to increase awareness of the Society and Movement Disorders as a neurological sub-specialty among international healthcare professionals and the public at large. Stern states, “The MDS website will remain as the primary resource for educational information and valuable online tools in the field of Movement Disorders. The enhancements made to the newly redesigned website will not only make it easier for members and healthcare professionals to access valuable information, but it will allow MDS to continue to work to disseminate knowledge and promote research in order to favorably affect the care of patients with Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.”
