Northwood University Receives National Recognition as a “Best Private Business School” with Excellent ROI
MIDLAND, Mich. (PRWEB) May 07, 2014 -- Northwood University recently received a 4th place rank in the “Best Private Business Schools” category in the national 2014 PayScale College ROI Report. The survey revealed Northwood University delivers a 9 percent annual return on investment (ROI) for its graduates. In 2013, Northwood University ranked 7th overall in this same category.
The PayScale Survey ranked more than 900 U.S. colleges and universities based on total cost and alumni earnings. The study’s annual ROI figure compares the return over 20 years when investing money in a degree at a certain school as opposed to other investments, such as stocks or bonds. Total cost to attend a school is based on the school’s tuition, room and board, books and supplies and is weighted for in-state and out-of-state tuition rates.

“The results of this study directly reflect that Northwood University offers a truly unique and exceptional value proposition for students seeking a business degree,” notes Keith A. Pretty, president and CEO of Northwood University. “It also indicates that we have one of the lowest total costs within the Specialty Business Colleges and Universities category. Northwood University finds itself in the distinctive position of offering many specialty business majors, such as automotive marketing and management, aftermarket management, franchise management, sustainability management, and supply chain management and operations, to name just a few.”
Northwood University, which specializes in free-market, entrepreneurial-focused business education at the undergraduate and graduate levels, also provides students the option to enroll in a dual-major track at no additional cost.
