Digital Atlanta, one of the Southeast’s largest and longest-running digital conferences, unveiled its new name – SouthWiRED – at an announcement party earlier this week. SouthWiRED, taking place October 6-10, 2014, will star the South’s top innovators and will be fueled by a killer agenda of top-notch content, unparalled networking and cross collaboration.
Held annually in Atlanta since 2009, the conference has grown in popularity, attracting more than 1,000 attendees from Birmingham, Ala. to Orlando Fla. to Charleston, S.C. In honor of its fifth anniversary, the conference decided to expand its reach by rebranding and re-fueling its weeklong, one-of-a-kind experience.
"As we celebrate our fifth year as the region's premier digital technology conference, we're advancing our organization to the next level,” said Kashi Sehgal, executive director of SouthWiRED. “The newly branded SouthWiRED will showcase our hometown Atlanta talent while also bringing together pacesetters from around the South to strengthen education, networking and content opportunities. Overall, our new brand and fifth anniversary will celebrate all the amazing innovation and talent that exist in the South."
Over the course of the five-day conference, SouthWiRED attendees will have the ability to learn straight from the biggest innovators in technology and digital.
