SLCC’s Grand Theatre Hosting Play “Noises Off”
Salt Lake City, UT (PRWEB) May 07, 2014 -- Salt Lake Community College is hosting a production of English playwright Michael Frayn’s 1982 play “Noises Off.”
The comedic “play within a play” will run May 8-24 at the Grand Theatre on SLCC’s South City Campus, 1575 South State Street, Salt Lake City. Tickets are $10-$24 and show times are at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays through Saturdays, with 2 p.m. matinees on May 10 and 17.
Anne Stewart-Mark is directing lead actors Sallie Cooper and David Marsden in the lead roles of Dotty and Lloyd. The play, which in 1992 was adapted into a movie with a star-studded cast, is a farcical behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to put on the play “Nothing On.”
