Supported engines include MySQL, Percona XtraDB, MongoDB and Couchbase with additional ones coming soon.

CumuLogic, the leading innovator in private Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS), is pleased to announce a technical preview release of the CumuLogic Database Service Broker for Cloud Foundry™. With this integration in place, Cloud Foundry users can now rely on CumuLogic’s platform to deliver production-ready database services to their applications in private, public and hybrid cloud environments. With the combination of CumuLogic and Cloud Foundry, enterprises will be empowering their application teams with agility and operational integrity.

Supported engines in the CumuLogic Database Service Broker for Cloud Foundry include MySQL, Percona, MongoDB and Couchbase. CumuLogic’s Broker for Cloud Foundry provides maximum flexibility so platform administrators can define service subscription configurations for each of these database engines, starting at single node database services and scaling up to advanced replication topologies. Once subscription options are created, the Cloud Foundry administrator can selectively expose these new service options to developers.

The CumuLogic Database Service Broker for Cloud Foundry can help Fortune 500 customers speed time-to-market, empowering Cloud Foundry application developers to provision production-ready databases on-demand in just minutes, hence improving developer productivity. The CumuLogic platform can manage thousands of databases to perform ongoing maintenance tasks, such as taking scheduled database backups, executing point-in-time recovery tasks, and monitoring performance and capacity of deployed instances.

The CumuLogic Database Service Broker for Cloud Foundry is being made available to users of the CumuLogic platform as an open source project on GitHub, licensed via the Apache Software License Version 2, https://github.com/cumulogic.
