Ottawa Web Design & Technology Firm Co-founder Receives Forty Under 40 Award
Ottawa, ON (PRWEB) May 10, 2014 -- When Reid Ivens found out he’d won the prestigious Forty Under 40 award, the entrepreneur reflected on the 15 years that have followed since co-founding N-VisionIT, one of the leading Ottawa web and mobile development firms. He remembered all the clients, small and Fortune 500 alike; all the investment properties he and his partner amassed, one by one, to 18 doors in 18 months; and all the hours spent architecting a recently launched business management software that will help business owners everywhere.

Ivens co-founded N-VisionIT with CEO Brent Mondoux, who was named a Forty Under 40 recipient in 2013. The award, co-hosted by the Ottawa Business Journal and the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce, recognizes the achievements of local business leaders.
“I’m very proud to be recognized alongside such an impressive group of business people,” says Ivens, whose bootstrapping story was selected from 250 applications. “I’ve put my heart and soul into building a business that helps others reach their goals, and it’s great to know those efforts are recognized by my peers and local business leaders.”
Under Ivens’ leadership alongside Mondoux, N-VisionIT has created hundreds of websites, mobile applications and social media marketing campaigns for the likes of Fortune 500 companies and government agencies. The firm was recently named Canada’s Best Android App Developer by Best Web Design Agencies.
Ivens says a big part of what has made N-VisionIT so successful over the last 15 years is the company’s very own web-based business management software. Ivens will receive his Forty Under 40 award along with 39 of his peers June 19 at a gala at the Hilton Lac-Leamy.
