The GROW! Awards honor two of the fastest-growing Silicon Valley companies. SanDisk Corporation received the GROW! Award for Outstanding Growth Company, and Rocket Fuel won the GROW! Award for Emerging Growth Company.
John L. Hennessy, president of Stanford University, keynoted the awards ceremony, and Sally Pera, CEO of ACG Silicon Valley, served as the master of ceremonies. Additional speakers included Maisie Ganzler, vice president of strategy at Bon Appétit Management Company, and Silicon Valley and technology writer Michael Malone, who recently penned “Learning Curve.” Signed copies of his book were given to guests. Following a successful Farm to Fork dinner at the 2013 GROW! Awards, Bon Appétit Management Company again catered the event. Proceeds benefited the Computer History Museum.

This screening process produced a short-list of nominees that the selection committee then researched, considered and debated before each member voted on final candidates.
