International children’s charity Kids Wish Network is proud to announce CafePress as a major Guardian Angel donor. With the company’s most recent donation, CafePress has contributed over $500,000 worth of product to the charity’s Holiday of Hope Gift Bank and On Tour Event programs. These programs help children facing life-altering situations such as illness, abuse, neglect and homelessness by providing items that offer a welcome distraction from upsetting and often traumatic circumstances.

Founded in 1999, CafePress is based on the idea of applying printing and technology innovation to make it easier for the world to express themselves. The main focus was initially on t-shirts but the company has expanded its vision to include high-quality items such as hoodies, posters, bumper stickers and mugs. CafePress gives the world’s creative minds the power to craft custom products and personalized gifts. Its design tools make it easy to add photos, text, images, and even create cool designs or logos from scratch.

CafePress is in its second year of donation with Kids Wish Network. In addition to the value of the company’s products, it also donates the shipping fees, which in 2013 totaled almost $7,000. The custom-designed clothing donated by CafePress continues to provide joy to kids experience life-altering circumstances, like those at a recent On Tour Event in Yazoo City, MS.

“We’re so thankful that Kids Wish Network and its generous donors were able to provide for this event,” says Yazoo City Mayor McArthur Straughter. “This is going to have a great impact on the kids because a lot of people in the community don’t have access to new things.”

All the donated clothing from CafePress for this event went directly to the children and families of the Mississippi Delta. On behalf of all the families helped across the nation through its generous donations, Kids Wish Network would like to thank CafePress for becoming a Guardian Angel donor.
