PREFERRED Therapy Providers, Inc. Launches New Online Legislative Advocacy Center
Phoenix, Arizona (PRWEB) May 12, 2014 -- PREFERRED Therapy Providers, Inc. recently launched an online Legislative Advocacy Center on their website to engage their stakeholders in active legislative advocacy on a national level.
PREFERRED’s online Legislative Advocacy Center is a tool that allows members to have a voice by easily contacting their government officials on a variety of important issues. This is a proactive approach to alert health care professionals of issues that may affect their businesses.
Powered by Voter Voice, this online tool allows PREFERERED to quickly set up and launch campaigns to their members alerting by them to issues and guiding them through the communication process to connect with the proper legislative body.
“We are excited to bring this on-line legislative advocacy center to our physical, occupational, and speech therapy network members,” said Steven Allred, PT, President of PREFERRED. “Research has shown that therapy lowers healthcare costs when accessed directly and early in the course of rehabilitation. When legislative officials are making decisions about healthcare, we want them to understand the proven values of therapy as a solution to rising healthcare costs.”
The process involves a simple, one time registration on PREFERRED’s Legislative Advocacy Center. When PREFERRED identifies a legislative issue, an Action Alert email notification will be sent to stakeholders. After reading the email stakeholders can take action on the issue with a pre-populated, editable letter explaining the issue and their opposition or endorsement of the issue. By clicking the “send” button, the letter automatically will be forwarded to the appropriate legislative representatives.
PREFERRED Therapy Providers, Inc. continually monitors legislative issues and stakeholders can stay informed about issues anytime by logging onto PREFERRED’s website and clicking on the Legislative Action box.
Easy to understand instructions on how to utilize the Legislative Advocacy Center are available to PREFERRED members by contacting PREFERRED at 800-664-5240.
