MPI Chicago and Choose Chicago Form Strategic Business Alliance with Mexico MPI
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 22, 2014 -- On April 30, members of Meeting Professionals International [MPI] Mexico visited Chicago to learn more about Chicago’s meetings and events industry.
Hosted by MPI Chicago and Choose Chicago, the MPI Mexico leaders attended multiple MPI Chicago events that included a strategy luncheon, Educational knowledge share and MPI-CAC’s second Annual Trivia night. The group first met in January when MPI Chicago and Choose Chicago representatives visited Mexico City to form the alliance.
“MPI Chicago is excited to build strategic partnerships with international chapters. Our first alliance is with MPI Mexico. MPI’s goal is to help our members grow their careers and build their business,” said Bill Kubiak, president of the MPI Chicago Area Chapter.

Lourdes Gomez and John Curran, Managing Director of Tourism, MICE & Leisure Sales attended on behalf of Choose Chicago. Michael Dominguez, Chairman, MPI International Board of Directors, also attended.
“MPI Chicago’s goal is to create alliances to share knowledge and best practices with our sister city chapters. The international partnerships will help the members of both chapters to grow their business through interaction and cross referrals,” said Hali Cooper, president-elect of the MPI Chicago Area Chapter.
