Dublin, Ireland (PRWEB) May 12, 2014 -- The NFFEE initiative – organised by the European Commission, Deloitte, EBN, and DigitalEurope – was set up to showcase the 100+ technology start-ups, entrepreneurs and SMEs with the potential to grow exponentially in international markets, and to bring them together with investors, mentors and business support intermediaries. A team from XINTEC was invited by to travel to meet the organisers of the project and learn about the programme.
XINTEC was set up in Dublin in 2011, and has quickly learned to punch above its weight in overseas markets. With customer references today including the Vodafone and Orange Groups, XINTEC has managed to disrupt a traditionally competitive space within the telecoms industry. With a unique concept of product and service flexibility, by performing analytics on key revenue streams in near-real time, XINTEC helps operators maximise their profitability. This innovative visualisation technology requires only light-touch integration, causing minimal disruption to a customer network, or even to existing supplier systems. And should operators be lacking in resources, skills or time, XINTEC will provide first-line monitoring and support under a managed service agreement.
XINTEC was introduced to NFFEE by Dublin BIC and the ACE programme in Ireland. From an original selection of 400 participants, the panel elected the shortlist of 100 on the grounds of potential to grow internationally. “Judges were impressed with the vendor’s early track record in established markets dominated by large players, and they believed XINTEC’s exceptional offering and packaging would convince investors from other countries to finance the next stage of growth,” commented John Phelan, Investment Advisor at Dublin BIC and National Manager of the Halo Business Angel Partnership. “Over the coming months, this innovative ICT start-up will raise investor readiness with the support of mentoring services and entrepreneurial events throughout Europe,” he added.
“It is a European ambition to develop novel digital technologies in order to increase growth and create employment, and we are delighted to feature among this list of innovative companies. Given time, we hope to make a noticeable difference to the European competitive landscape,” commented XINTEC’s CEO Sean Killeen as the news of the award reached the team.
