Safway Group Finalizes Agreement with Access Giant Nisso Industry - QuikDeck® Ideally Suited for Japanese Market
Waukesha, Wis. (PRWEB) May 29, 2014 -- Safway Group has finalized an agreement with Nisso Industry for exclusive Japanese distribution of Safway’s patented QuikDeck® Suspended Access System. The deal reflects growing global recognition of the benefits of Safway’s innovative, modular work platform. Nisso is one of the largest providers of scaffolding and other access-related services in Japan.

QuikDeck features a unique modular design that allows an “in the air” build-out of a broad, rigid work platform. From an initial 16-foot by 16-foot QuikDeck platform hung under the work area, sections can be rapidly added and leap-frogged (using materials staged on sections previously erected) – all without ever touching anything below. Its easy installation saves on labor and moves projects along efficiently. QuikDeck can be engineered to span large areas, fit unique shapes, withstand high loads at a 4:1 ratio, and be combined with other access solutions such as supported scaffolding. QuikDeck also provides a safe barrier between the work area and anything below.

He noted that analysts forecast construction spending in Japan to increase significantly over the coming five years, due in part to tens of trillions of yen in government stimulus for reconstruction after the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, economic reforms and other public works.
Safway’s current agreement with Nisso covers the distribution of QuikDeck in Japan, which is the world’s third largest economy. Nisso has offices in Taiwan, South Korea and Germany, and may provide a platform for wider international distribution of QuikDeck in the future, according to Dolly.
