Noodles & Company:
Noodles & Company, a fast-casual restaurant chain that serves classic noodle and pasta dishes from around the world, won the Growth and Innovation Award. Noodles & Company had one of the hottest IPOs of 2013, achieving a 104 percent growth in its first day of trading. Rapidly expanding with almost 400 locations, Noodles has used PeopleMatter to onboard more than 25,000 employees since February 2011. Focusing on efficient operations through innovative technology, like the platform, has supported their growth for long-term success.
Flash Foods, a convenience store chain with almost 200 locations in GA and FL, won the ROI Impact: PeopleMatter HIRE™ award for tax credits. Federal programs provide tax credits for helping unemployed Americans get back to work, and Flash Foods has qualified for more than $800,000 in tax credits since implementing PeopleMatter HIRE in 2011. Flash Foods manages the entire tax credit submission process electronically with HIRE.
Family Express, a family-owned and -operated convenience store chain in IN, won the ROI Impact: PeopleMatter LEARN™ award for its companywide training program, where employees have successfully completed more than 20,000 training courses. Recognized in the marketplace for its passion for customer service, Family Express is dedicated to building relationships with customers through uniquely friendly employees, which they call their "living brand.” To achieve this unified commitment to excellent customer service, Family Express has implemented an extensive training program through LEARN that ensures each and every employee provides exceptional customer service.
St. Joe Petroleum:
St. Joe Petroleum, an eight-location convenience store chain based in St. Joseph, Missouri, won the ROI Impact: PeopleMatter SCHEDULE™ award. An early adopter of SCHEDULE, St. Joe Petroleum has transitioned all paper-based employee work schedules to the cloud, allowing employees to view their schedules online, anytime. For example, St. Joe Petroleum published 14 schedules per location in the month of March alone, saving employees and managers significant time. Employees can easily access their schedules via the web, tablet or PeopleMatter app, which also gives them the ability to swap shifts or request time off from their smartphone. SCHEDULE allows St. Joe Petroleum to optimize work schedules and reduce labor costs with budgeting tools as well as ACA and overtime threshold notifications.
Wildflower Bread Company:
Wildflower Bread Company, a fast-casual restaurant chain based in AZ, won the Inspirational Service Award for its dedication to community service. Wildflower Bread Company supports both large and small organizations that are changing lives through the Wildflower Cares Foundation. Every night, Wildflower Bread Company donates its remaining bread and bakery items to shelters and organizations throughout the state. A PeopleMatter client since 2011, Wildflower Bread Company has donated more than 1 million dollars worth of leftover bread and bakery items since 2010 to help the impoverished.
