Sparxoo Recognized Among Sponsors at the 2014 Latinos Unidos Luncheon
Tampa, FL (PRWEB) May 12, 2014 -- Sparxoo, a full-service advertising agency that specializes in branding and digital, was among those recognized as in-kind sponsors for the 16th annual Latinos Unidos luncheon that took place on Thursday, May 8 at the Tampa Convention Center.
Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn and the City of Tampa Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council host the annual event, which highlights the impact that Latino leaders have made locally and nationally. All net proceeds from the event support scholarships for Latino students who attend the University of South Florida, Hillsborough Community College, or the University of Tampa.
This year’s event recognized a number of student scholarship recipients who were in attendance and featured keynote speaker, Alex Sanchez, the President and CEO of the Florida Bankers Association.
As part of their in-kind sponsorship, Sparxoo designed and developed a website for Latinos Unidos, http://latinosunidostampa.org, which helped raised awareness about the Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council and provided a direct link for ticket purchases and donations for the Latinos Unidos luncheon.
“We were honored to participate in the success of this year’s Latinos Unidos luncheon,” said Sparxoo CEO, David Capece. “At Sparxoo, supporting our community is a top priority and we were grateful for the opportunity to support the Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council for this great cause.”
