Announcement: BluesGuitar.com Releases “Guitar Lick over a Blues Shuffle Rhythm - Blues Guitar Lesson”
(PRWEB) May 11, 2014 -- “Lets assume that you are playing a shuffle in the key of G”, says Darville. Jacques demonstrates the shuffle as; first finger on the 3rd fret of the 6th string and 2nd finger on the 5th fret of the 5th string, strummed twice, then he switches from the 5th fret to the 7th fret with 4th finger, strummed twice and alternating back and forth. “That sounds pretty cool, but you can also do something a little different”, says Darville. Jacques says that if you have a 2nd guitarist that you playing with you can add to it. Jacques demonstrates the second guitar part as follows; 2nd finger on the 3rd fret of the 4th string, first finger on the 2nd fret of the 3rd string and 3rd fret of the 2nd string with 3rd finger. Jacques strums this chord once and then slides it up one whole step and then back down over the shuffle rhythm that the other guitarist is playing. When the chord progression moves to the four chord, C, you can simple move that shape up to the 8th fret and slide to the 10th fret and then back down to the 3rd fret for the one chord again. And finally for the five chord Jacques moves the chord shape up to the 10th fret and slides to the 12th fret and then back down to the four chord again and ending on the one chord. Guitar TAB’s are available for this blues guitar lesson at BluesGuitar.com.
