..... this will be our one "go to" strapless option.
Bozeman, MT (PRWEB) May 13, 2014
Multisport Cardio by TomTom is a heart rate monitor that uses optical sensors to get heart rate data with no strap and it will arrive in the next week at the Heart Rate Watch Company.
"A lot of people want pace, distance and continuous heart rate without having to wear a strap, so for those folks we will carry the TomTom Multisport Cardio," says Rusty Squire, President of the Heart Rate Watch Company. He adds, "The company has done a good job advancing these watches since the first TomTom GPS watches arrived and the heart rate data appears to be pretty accurate as this optical technology advances."
"This watch will be a good option for the strap averse, especially given that early touch sensor technology left a lot to be desired," says Squire. He adds, "We are going to discontinue the strapped version of the TomTom Multisport GPS and Runners GPS at bargain prices to make way for this new optical technology".
"Since we feel that TomTom offers easier use and better technology than other current optical sensor brands in the market this will be our one "go to" strapless option," says Squire.
Prices and Options
"TomTom will make both a runners version of the optical GPS watches, called the TomTom Runners Cardio, for $269 and then the Multisport version for $299 that adds swim and bike features," says Squire. He adds, "These watches will be good competition in the mid-range GPS running watches for the likes of the Garmin Forerunner 220, even though the Forerunner 220 is a bit more advanced."
Ordering and Availability
"You can place advance orders now for the TomTom Multisport Cardio, or the running version, and they should get delivered in the next week or so," says Squire.
