Bleacher manufacturer National Recreation Systems earns second certification from Canadian Welding Bureau
Fort Wayne, Indiana (PRWEB) May 20, 2014 -- The Canadian Welding Bureau has awarded National Recreation Systems(NRS) with company certification within the W47.2 standards, which is the Certification of Companies for Fusion Welding of Aluminum. Along with the previous certification for Fusion Welding of Steel meeting the standards of W47.1, NRS is now certified in both steel and aluminum. Both certifications make NRS the only U.S. company within the Division 2 standards certified for steel and aluminum. This allows NRS, a leader in outdoor aluminum bleachers, to better meet the needs of its customers in Canada.
Canadian rules and regulations concerning the construction of facilities have specific qualifications, and any company seeking such work in Canada must meet CSA certifications standards as administered by the Canadian Welding Bureau. NRS meets these standards, which requires an understanding of Canadian welding procedures. They have had their welders qualified in these procedures and have put in place a number of Welding Supervisors and Welding Engineers to oversee welding operations of bleachers installed in Canada. NRS Canadian Model Bleachers are designed to meet the requirements of CAN/CSA S16.
NRS, A PlayCore Company, is the industry leader in aluminum bleacher design, manufacturing, and project management and provides affordable quality spectator seating solutions. The CWB certification offers the following benefits for customers in Canada:
• Galvanized steel or aluminum frames
• Welding performed by Canadian Welding Bureau certified welders
• Canadian standard bleachers available from 3-10 rows
• Custom configurations available up to 20 rows
