Homewood Suites by Hilton Tucson St. Philip’s Plaza University, owned by Noble Investment Group and operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts, today announced that Charles Brown has been named general manager and Catherine DeLone has been named director of sales. Located at 4250 North Campbell Avenue, Tucson, Ariz., the 122-suite hotel is scheduled to open in October of 2014.

As general manager of the upscale, all-suite, extended-stay hotel, Brown will direct all areas of the hotel’s operations, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts, and hotel administration.

As director of sales, DeLone will work alongside General Manager Brown, to engage with local business, facilitate marketing efforts, and oversee sales initiatives that assure the success of the hotel.

Prior to joining the Homewood Suites Tucson-St. Philip’s Plaza University team, Brown was general manager of the Homewood Suites–Oakland Waterfront. Brown is a graduate of the University of Arizona and lived in Tucson for 12 years where he started his career. He brings more than 25 years of experience in all facets of the lodging industry to his new position.

DeLone was director of sales for the Homewood Suites in Reno, Nev., and is a graduate of the University of Nevada. She brings more than 10 years of hospitality sales experience to her new position.
