Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) May 13, 2014
Petplan, America’s best-loved pet insurer, is delighted to announce that the company has been named a finalist in the 2014 American Business Awards for fetch! magazine in both the print and electronic categories for Best House Organization Publication. Petplan will ultimately be a Gold, Silver or Bronze Stevie® Award winner in the program.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
The American Business Awards will be presented at two awards events: the ABA's traditional banquet on Friday, June 13 in Chicago and the new product & technology awards event on Friday, September 12 in San Francisco.
More than 3,300 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories. Petplan’s quarterly pet health magazine, fetch!, is nominated in both the print and electronic categories for Best House Organization Publication.
“We are thrilled to have been selected as a finalist in the prestigious Stevie Awards,” says Natasha Ashton, fetch! Executive Editor and Co-CEO of Petplan. “fetch! magazine is the physical manifestation of our company’s core value that pets come first, and we take great pride in being a trusted health resource for pet parents. When we hear from readers that the information they learned in fetch! helped improve their pet’s health, it powers our passion for producing quality content. When a pet parent reaches out to tell us that something they read in fetch! actually helped save their pet’s life, that is the greatest reward of all.”
Finalists were chosen by more than 150 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of several specialized judging committees will determine Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging, to take place May 13-22.
“The final judges have a difficult task ahead of them, to rank the Finalists, because there are so many great nominations this year,” said Stevie Awards president and founder Michael Gallagher.
