Unicon Technologists to Deliver Nineteen Presentations at the 2014 Open Apereo Conference
Gilbert, AZ (PRWEB) May 13, 2014 -- Unicon, Inc., a leading IT consulting, services, and support provider specializing in open source for the education technology market, will be presenting and participating in a total of 19 technical seminars and presentations at the upcoming 2014 Open Apereo Conference, “Innovate. Incubate. Implement,” being held in Miami, Florida, June 1-4, 2014. Eight expert open source software developers and architects from Unicon will present on a variety of subjects pertaining to open source application deployment, development, and support for the online campus.
Unicon has a high involvement in the Apereo open source projects. Presenting and participating in conference sessions gives the Unicon open source experts a chance to share their work with the community. Sharing the latest progress on open source projects helps the community keep abreast of the latest project developments and aides in project collaboration. Unicon values the chance to collaborate on project development and to ensure that the projects continue to effectively serve institutions and organizations.
The Open Apereo conference provides participants the opportunity to share their institutional experiences and learn from their colleagues, and to develop an understanding of other areas of the academic enterprise they may not be familiar with. The conference is held every year with the intent to help attendees network, grow, share, and learn from each other.
