Newport News, Va. (PRWEB) May 13, 2014

Tidewater Physical Therapy is pleased to announce that it was named among the top physical therapy practices in Virginia this month by Virginia Living Magazine readers in the third annual Readers’ Survey.

The independently owned physical therapy practice, with clinics from Virginia Beach to Richmond, earned first place in the Eastern Region for Best Physical Therapy Group for its Suffolk location and second place in the Central Region for its multiple locations around the state capitol.

“It is such a pleasure taking care of the members of this community, and we are humbled to be recognized by our patients and referral sources,” said Tory Bishop, Clinical Director for the Suffolk location.

More than 32,000 people voted in the 2014 Best of Virginia survey in January to present the 1,345 winners in nearly 100 different categories divided among the four regions of the state – Eastern, Central, Northern, Southwest and Shenandoah Valley, according to Virginia Living.

“We take great pride in the patient care we provide at all of the Tidewater Physical Therapy clinics,” said Kevin Dintino, Regional Director for the Richmond locations. “To have our patients, those we have helped return to an active life, take the time to vote and tell others about the hands on care they receive from our clinicians is the best compliment any medical provider can receive.”

Categories readers voted in ranged from physical therapy clinics and hospitals to fine dining and bed and breakfasts.

“It has been fun traveling the state with you these three years and learning about all of your favorite restaurants and resorts, arts and music events, clothing and home décor shops, brunch and coffee shops, financial planners, pediatricians, wildlife trails and parks and so much more,” wrote Virginia Living editor, Erin Parkhurst. “I love knowing that when I want to visit a new corner of our state, I’ll have just the right tip for where to go, thanks to Best of Virginia, thanks to you.”

The results were published in the May 2014 Best of Virginia special edition.
