The leading provider of housing and care services has taken a 15 year lease on 25,000 sq ft of office space over two floors at Commercial Estates Group’s Tricorn House development in Hagley Road.
On 12th May 180 employees relocated from Housing & Care 21’s offices in Vicarage Road, Edgbaston to their new head office location on the tenth floor of Tricorn House. A further 120 Housing & Care 21 staff will move into level 9 of Tricorn House by October.
Commenting on the move, Bruce Moore, Chief Executive of Housing & Care 21 said: “Tricorn House is a very positive move for Housing & Care 21, both financially and strategically. The move follows a comprehensive two year search to find the perfect location which provides us with the space we need as well as good transport links.”
Tricorn House, which covers 155,000 sq ft in total, was built in the 1960s and has undergone major refurbishment. Along with the light and airy office space the building has a café in the foyer, breakout space, 24 hour security and on-site car parking.
The fit out works were undertaken by Estilo Interiors and the external project manager was Steve Booker of Construction Group Consultancy (CGC).
