Elasto Proxy, a global supplier of custom-fabricated rubber parts, is announcing plans to attend the CANSEC tradeshow in Ottawa, Ontario on May 29 and 30, 2014. Military buyers and defense industry contractors are invited to visit Elasto Proxy in Booth #935 and meet with Clyde Sharpe, President of International Sales, and Jason Beattie, Sealing Solutions provider from the Newmarket, Ontario branch.

Based in Boisbriand, Quebec, Elasto Proxy serves a range of industries, including aerospace, defense, and mobile specialty vehicles. Now in its 25th year, the ISO-certified company holds a Controlled Goods Certificate (CGC) and is a long-time, active member of the Canadian Association of Defense and Security Industries (CADSI), the trade organization that sponsors CANSEC.

Solving Sealing and Insulation Challenges

Prime contractors and subcontractors are encouraged to visit CANSEC Booth #935 and learn how Elasto Proxy solves sealing and insulation challenges for military programs. In the military marketplace, Elasto Proxy custom-fabricates EMI shielding and vibration mounts for electronics, thermal and acoustical insulation for engine compartments and cabs, and seals for doors, windows, hatches, and hangars.

Elasto Proxy also supplies military buyers and defense contractors with parts and partitions for gaskets and gen-sets, personal protection pads for confined spaces such as tanks, and molded rubber parts for military vehicles such as ambulances, mine sweepers, and personnel carriers. The Canadian company has also fabricated parts for push-button tents and seals for engine exhaust and amphibious equipment.

Strengthening the Defense Supply Chain

When the availability of spare parts is mission-critical, military buyers may worry about overdependence on a single supplier. That’s why the defense industry comes to Elasto Proxy for one-off rubber parts, or larger but limited quantities. As visitors to CANSEC Booth #935 will learn, Elasto Proxy also makes spares and can even tackle old designs long after a military program ends.

Visitors to CANSEC 2014, Canada’s leading defense technology tradeshow, are invited to visit Elasto Proxy in Both #935 and strengthen their supply chains. Held at the Ernst & Young Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, CANSEC is where government buyers and industry suppliers exchange ideas and discuss the latest defense technologies.
