BRM Announces ISA 2014 Tradeshow Plans (Booth #607); Industrial Supply Association (ISA) Convention to Feature Flexible Honing Tools and NamPower Nylon Abrasive Brushes
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 14, 2014 -- Brush Research Manufacturing (BRM), Made-in-the-USA maker of flexible hones and nylon abrasive brushes, is announcing plans to attend the ISA annual convention from May 17 to 20, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Visit BRM in Booth #607 at the New Orleans Convention Center and meet with Jonathan Borden, Director of Sales, North America, and Heather Jones, Vice President of Marketing.
ISA 2014 is sponsored by the Industrial Supply Association (ISA), the leading trade association for organizations in the maintenance, repair, operations, and production (MROP) supply channel. As a full-line supplier of industrial brush tools, BRM will showcase Flex-Hone® and NamPower technologies, industry-leading solutions for surface finishing challenges.
Flex-Hone® Tools for Inner Diameter (ID) Surface Finishing
BRM Flex-Hone® tools are ideal for improving the surface condition of cylinder walls. Self-centering, self-aligning, and self-compensating for wear, BRM ball hones feature abrasive globules laminated onto the ends of flexible nylon filaments. Available in different abrasive types, grit sizes, and tool diameters, flexible cylinder hones mount in handheld electric drills and production equipment.
BRM's cylinder honing tools use a soft cutting action and a low-temperature, low-pressure abrading process to impart a plateau finish with oil-retaining valleys. Ball hones are also used for burr removal, edge blending, and chamfering – the process of removing micro-burrs and stress risers that can interfere with the performance of machined components.
NamPower Brush Tools for Outer Diameter (OD) Surface Finishing
Visitors to the BRM booth can also learn about NamPower nylon abrasive brushes for outer diameter (OD) surface finishing and deburring. These brush tools integrate easily with manual and automated equipment for deburring, edge radiusing, and surface conditioning. Applications for NamPower abrasive discs, wheels, and hex-drive tools include fine blanking, surface preparation, and parts resurfacing.
All NamPower high-performance brushes are made with moisture and chemical resistant filaments. They conform closely to part contours and feature lightweight tool holders, a unique cooling system, and molded thermoplastic base for greater stability and less vibration. With their linear construction, NamPower nylon abrasive brushes deliver consistent deburring throughout the length of their bristles.

From May 17 to 20, 2014, Booth #607 at the New Orleans Convention Center is where industrial suppliers will learn how manufacturers choose Flex-Hone® and NamPower technologies for solving surface finishing challenges. As a full-line supplier of industrial brushes, BRM is committed the success of these manufacturing enterprises, and to the success of its global distributor network.
