West Midlands based customer engagement company, Rant & Rave, has been selected as one of the UK’s top tech businesses – and recognised as a ‘Little British Battler’. Organised by the leading independent industry analyst firm, TechMarketView, the company was one of just 12 UK-based software companies to be given the accolade.

Rant & Rave were recognised for their use of innovative technology to compete with bigger, more established companies and create a better, unique service for their clients.

The Rant & Rave technology platform allows companies to proactively communicate with and gather fast feedback from their customers by inviting them to ‘rant & rave’ about their experience. As the name suggests, its remit is to identify and convert negative sentiment from individuals (ranters) about a brand into a positive attitude, and capture and amplify the views of the positive (ravers).

Dennis met with the TechMarketView research team in April where he presented his company’s perspective and received expert thoughts on how the company could develop. TechMarketView’s theme for 2014 is ‘Race for Change’, where they believe that UK companies embracing technological change ahead of their competitors will be better positioned to disrupt established markets.

The status as a Little British Battler follows a successful rebrand for the company (from Rapide) and a number of big new business wins including Papa John’s, Amey and News UK. The company were also recognised for recording a 21% average year-on-year revenue growth for the last seven years.
