Force 3 Awarded Department of Commerce Blanket Delivery Order
Crofton, MD (PRWEB) May 14, 2014 -- Force 3, delivering the best-in-class Cyber Security, Collaboration, Next-Generation Networking, Virtualization and IT Support Solutions for Federal, announced today it has won a multi-year blanket delivery order with the U.S. Department of Commerce for information technology hardware with a focus on network-related products.
Force 3 is one of five awardees selected to provide a range of networking equipment from six original equipment manufacturers through the Commerce Department’s blanket delivery order. The estimated total value of this contract is expected to be $150 million over the life of the five-year contract. The blanket delivery order can be used by any of the Commerce Department’s 12 operating units.

The BDO was awarded with a performance period of five years. The Commerce Department expects the BDO to drive significant reduction in IT-related expenditures for the agency.
